Only caught two Blush! songs (mcT). They are getting tighter. Bandwork and crowdwork has gone up too. Confidence is a blast! And the rock is up a couple levels too. Lead g enjoys breaking out. I have a feeling these guys are going places! Video songs: Rad (new single?) but I called it 'I wannna fall in love' and Burn. Spoke to lead g - things are happening for them.

Viperchain. Single-handedly trying to drag me into liking screamy rock. There's probably a proper name for it, likely involving 'metal' as a suffix 😁. Every song has a guitar solo - and they're good. Every other song has screamy vox - not so good. Sigh. As far as screamy vox goes these are some of the better ones I've heard, but I dunno. Wow, the (v small) four5nine dancefloor vibrates like a jackhammer when they get going. A feat not witnessed last night with Chasing Jayme. Will see again. Might learn to 'appreciate' screamy vox.

Sandbroker - no notes. This means they were too good to think about anything else. Set and night finished with a fair dinkum stage dive and crowd surf from a very animated lead g. Top show! It was a single release, but there was no product :-{ I spruiked bandcamp, natch. Would see again.
