A Wilde night with Kim

Saw Kim Wilde playing a solo show at Astor Theatre in Mt Lawley. What a night. That voice is as good as the 80s and 90s and she knows how to rock! (Except she calls it pop!)

All the hits were there (except Love Blonde) and new material from the upcoming (Jan, 2025) Closer album. We didn't get to see the new single 1969, but with so many hits to play - and when you are obviously enjoying playing every one of them - that's easy to forgive. I am unsure about a mash up between Kim's The Second Time and Pop Musik by M, but I guess Ricky wanted to do a bit of singing. 😀

Everyone was having a ball. The band were in good spirits, Kim's backing vocalist, co-dancer and niece Scarlett, was dancing up a storm and both Kim and Ricky were obviously enjoying the night.
