Critters - mostly Australian - at the Bird

Off the ferry, across the horseshoe and wound up in front of the Bird a full 10 minutes before the first band. I saw the whole gig!

The Australian Critters set was very chicken-oriented. They were just back from a Bali tour, and were good at working the crowd (even if the crowd were largely friends of the band).

I took a video of Grub which seems OK. Two guitarists in the band look like brothers, but I don't think they are. They rock and they've got attitude.
Lyric: "I / Wanna tell your mum she fucked it / Coz she raised a two-faced fuckwit". Brilliant!

Ursula were third on the lineup. Would probably see these guys headline again. Took video, but didn't write too many words - this usually means I was enjoying the set too much to remember individual bits 'n pieces. Foothead's drummer on skins - he's everywhere! Ursula are on Bandcamp and have a new album soon (early '25), so I might buy some stuff, or look out for album (video?) launch.
