Born to rock WA!
mcalex timing made me miss Town Bike, and I really wanted to see them. Caught them packing up which is actually not bad for my record, but not good enough for the night.
Robber's Dog were next up. The drummer - who organised the whole shindig - was at the Kim Wilde concert! Really like Robbers' Dog - they're an amalgam (supergroup?) of Perth talent, but are new as a band. Song: "The Older I Get, The Better I Was" should be a hit and followed lead vocalist complaining about comparisons with himself from 25 years ago. Told them they should get on bandcamp, but watch out for a Kimberley band with the same name. Looks like I got video of a song called 'Evil Hand'!

Secret Buttons were the third band on the lineup. Very guitar band - but I wasn't as in to them as I should have been. Lead singer was helped along with Dutch courage, methinks. They're possibly a bit too 80s-90s glam rock (Def Lep, Jovi, et al) for me. Will look out for them again to make a better judgement, coz I think I want to like 'em.

Datura4. Wow! Boogie band extraordinaire. Got a crowd that were not into dancing, dancing. Mic work was good - lyrics were all understandable. Got video of 'Hold My Life'. Good on 'em - they do a bunch of regional shows. Will very much see again.

Floors. One of my first gigs had Floors in the lineup, and I've been wanting to see them again since. Love the guitar. More video - How to raise a plant and make it love you. Never let it go, never let it go. Sage advice :-) Great band - definitely on my plus list.

A really good night. Mrs Baker came out to say thanks, and let us know about her husband's journey. Tears aplenty. I so hope he kicks it. Bought product, because couldn't not. Thank you, James.
