four5nine Sunday - more video Fail ups

Got there in time for band 1 (thanks to Western Power more than anything). J-Fury & The Ratbirds. Rocking, fast enough for me, nice guitar, and drummer fancies himself a bit of a screamy vocalist. He took over lead vox for one song that was a cover I'll have to look up from lyrics. Would see again.

I know and quite like About Yesterday. I think this is the third or maybe fourth time I've seen 'em. Always a good unit, but they're getting even more cohesive as a band (at the stage of finishing each other sentences, metaphorically). Cry myself to sleep was the last song.

First Offence. Yes! Bassist - probably best in Perth for rocking the songs, was grooving all over the place. They rock '90s style (Green Day influences) and they got all the bpm I need.😁 Will see again. Vox everywhere (incl drums), but not chick bassist, even on teenage dirtbag? Did I say will see again?

Anya Lilley is next. I feel I have, or should've seen her before. Lyrics with bite and attitude. Also love songs. Would see again, from memory, and if only to do a legit review. Quite disappointed with the video, because I think it would be good if it didn't sound like Alvin.

Tfw the sound guy turns up Floyd's Money, just coz you asked (read: made eye contact and pointed up. He got it!). 🤘🤣 Cheers Woody!

PS: Hadn't quite realised how bad the video settings were from last night at the beginning of the show. Found out by the end. More chipmunks (meaning Mr Screamy from the Ratbirds sounds like a child) on the videos. I think they get better going forwards.

PPS: Power came on at 3pm next day.
