Hurt like Homebrand
Missed About Yesterday (yeah, yeah), but in time for Foothead. No music on the merch table again (sigh).
Foothead rocked. Opened with 'Ceebs', played 'Cost of living' about halfway through and finished with the new song (recorded). Lead guitarist has her own fan club, or it was Oktoberfest, or both! Unusual lineup - bass was in the centre, lead vocals to the right (from their pov) and mic-less guitarist to the left.

Edie could have been at Clancy's Female Frenzy last night (though she wasn't playing guitar, so maybe didn't qualify?) and it looks like Foothead's drummer is in Edie's band too. The crowd was regaled with tales of true love between herself and Harry Styles (though Harry is yet to realise, apparently) and her thing for older men. A couple of covers sprinkled in the set - 'You're so vain' seemed apt given the background and an interesting mash of 'White Wedding' and ONJ's 'Physical'. Yeah, really! I recorded the last song, I think it's called Stranger - a lovely, caustic number - take that, sir. (Will have to work out what to do with video one day.) IMHO, doesn't need the short skirt to show off her talent; EDIE rocks the crowd, they're all singing along, so they're there for the the music, not the legshow, but i'm probably just being boring and old-fashioned. 😄

Rocking good show from Homebrand. Closed with the new single 'Hurt like that' (hurt and angry, methinks) and played all the crowd faves ('Blue', 'The Trouble', 'Where did the time go?') along the way. Will have to see how to buy music product because there was only clothing on the merch stand. Bought some stickers so they got some dollars from me at least. Took a video of the single - some focus/blur issues, but my phone seems to do good sound.

I do hope my video abilities get better. This focus blur issue is irritating.
