Saturday, The Bird for three bands new to me

12 parsecs were the first band I saw. Teenage rockstars! They do classic rock good. Love the guitar. Bass knows how to rock too. Drummer must be pound for pound, the hardest hitter in WA. Overall: wow! I stuffed up video, but I am going to see the guys again, so that's ok.

Moth Street Artists don't look it, but boy they pack a powerful punch. Bopping along, then all of a sudden they just cut sick. Caught one vid at the end (plagued by new cam software dramas). Lead guitarist requires two cameras he's so a) tall, and b) animated. Lead vox channels a Joplin/Amphlett combination in her delivery. Will see again.

Red Temples - more rock like it should be. 5 piece, with keys doing part time guitar (to loud cheers!). Vox part times between tambourine and guitar. Plus there's bass and lead. Released a single a year ago and new EP tonight. Gotta couple videos - managed to edit them into OK quality. Will see again. Also, will buy stuff on bandcamp - coz they tried to give me away a copy 😁
