Willow Park are really good. They should be on my look for list. Lovely soaring guitars, right work clear vocals, talk to their songs. Kudos all around. Will look out for. See? They are on my look for list. 😁 Not sure what happened with the video, I think i lost a chunk at the end. Will see again.

Second/third band are Solara. Chick led 5-piece. Rhythm and bass are in shades (coz 'natch 😎). Vox can sing. More guitars. I'm going to have to watch out for these guys too. Two from two - awesome night so far.

Solara

Calico City are a party band, that needs to break away from their covers addiction. (Ed: rocksperth is a wannabe critic who couldn't tell a G# from an A♭ and needs to stop being a ponce). The music is tight and they are good fun to listen to, and I like that they are committed to singles. Maintain 'watch this space' as they appear ambitious. Will see again - hopefully to enjoy a full set of originals. 🤣

A really good night all 'round. Two new bands to watch, and a developing band to keep watching (it's a bit like reading a book except the story happens in real time). Perth rocks! 😃
