Lilith. Got here in time for a video and a few pics, and only one 20 sec ig shot. I think I can work with the video. :-) "Find Me" is the song. They are getting better and better. Very tight as a unit. It feels like big things could be coming but that could be coz I just feel like WA music is ready to go off everywhere.

Band 2 are Tarot. Sold! Led Zep on vocals, AC/DC on lead by looks, but not by solos, UK with a chunk of Americana (I sense CCR and Aerosmith). 5-piece with 2 guitars plus bass, drums n vox. Will see again. Covered 'Whole Lotta Love', but otherwise did an original set. I'm going to allow it coz that voice just has to do a Zep cover 🤣

Rock 'N' Roll Hound

Next were False Cobra. Rockin' hard, not pulling any punches. Bloody awesome jam at the end - that I totally failed to capture. I think they might be from Gozzys. The sound isn't quite me, but it's good enough that that doesn't matter, I'll see them again. Really good band night so far, and there's still the headline to come. 😄

Rio (as in Tinto 🤣)

The Barstools closed out the night. Guitar perfection. I spent the whole set trying to work out where I'd seen lead. Had a chat after the gig - he's a Volcanic. "Oh shit, of course you are", I said (I've only been to half a dozen Volcanics gigs). The Barstools seem to be happy to cut loose a bit more than The Volcanics. Captured two songs in one video, but have to work out the name of the other before I can put it up. Really enjoyed the music, especially the guitar. Going to be looking for them in giglist. Will see again.

One Foot In The Grave

Aaaaand I've given up trying to serve videos on the blog from my own (rented) server. There are too many - and they just keep growing. So starting with this entry, videos are being linked from youtube. Hopefully my millons of readers will understand. 🤣
