WAM Sound Distance - Rockin' the Regions
According to their insta, I missed Asparagus Soop, from Mandurah. That might as well be Perth. (Ed: they play enough local gigs between this gig and the writeup in October to qualify as perthite rockers 😁).
Dullhouse, from Bunbury were the second on the bill. Chick rock four piece with guy on lead g. Crowd were fans and songs are singable. Would see again, and would see if I was in Bunbury 😀. They on Bandcamp. I may spend money tomorrow.😁
Ivory Dusk. Goldilocks heavy! Just right. Would see again! Ed: videos will have to help the review. I was too busy enjoying myself to pay attention. Dancing (on my video bench) while they played. Heavy rock that includes the 'Roll'. Also on Bandcamp! Rocksperth is gonna be poorer tomorrow. 🤣
Last band - Grand Casual - absolute crowd pleasers. Have never changed my mind about a band during their set so much. Thought they were a bit, errr, poncey when they came out (lead vox with back to the crowd), but turned into a great show band by half way through the set. Odd sort of band (I've been to Esperance, so that doesn't surprise much 😁) - drums is also keys, and lead vox believes in lying down to sing - but they are obviously having fun, so good on 'em! They not on Bandcamp 😢
