It's time for more music. So I'm searching and here's some of what I've found:
Toby Lee - the future of Blues - coz everyone says so
... and there's a half-decent chance they're right.A 19-year-old 'ranga from Oxfordshire has been playing guitar since before he was 10. That was when he posted a tribute video to B.B. King. Since then he's been in School of Rock at New London Theatre, and played with Ronnie Baker Brooks and Joe Bonamassa. First original album House On Fire released in 2024
The Warning - Error feed
Mexican women rockSister-trio - Alejandra, Paulina, and Daniela Villarreal Vélez - from Northern Mexico have been around (as a group) since about 2013. They released their fourth album Keep Me Fed in June 2024.
Wunderhorse - leading the UK pack
British rock with punk sensibilities. About to break sky-high (imho).Four piece with former Dead Pretties frontman Jacob Slater on vocals, Kim Wilde's son Harry Fowler on guitar, with Peter Woodin and Jamie Staples taking on bass and drums respectively. New* album Midas, should do well.
*as at 30 August, 2024
Ayron Jones - US singer/guitarist
Rocking the blues, includes guitar solos.Switching his frisbee for a fender, Ayron hails from Seattle (natch') and mixes rock with grunge and bluesey riffs (and throws in some hip-hop according to the bio - still to discover). Has opened for everyone, but is new in career terms with only(?) four albums as at 2024.
Royal Blood - UK Duo
Wait on - that's a Bass!English duo Royal Blood aren't brand new to the scene, having started and stopped a couple times on the way to where they are now. Mike Kerr is the driving force and drummer Ben has been in the band since 2013.
St Vincent - aka Anne Clark - US guitarist (et al)
Guitar legend who's been around for an embarrasingly (to me) long time.St Vincent (born Annie Clark) is an amazing guitarist and has been playing since the mid-naughties and relased her seventh album 'All Born Screaming' in April, this year.
The Blue Stones - Canadian Duo
Duo from Canada.Duo consisting of Tarek on guitar, vocals and writing and Justin on drums and backing vocals. Been around in one form or other for a while, but seem to be finding their feet since the 20s
